We have to give major props to Bourbon and Blush for pulling together such a great team for this wedding inspiration at The Orlo. This is one of Tampa’s newest venues, and it’s absolutely heavenly. It has a southern plantation feel that is dreamy and romantic. Just like this shoot! The soft, neutral taupe/latte with pops of peach and touches of gold. So gorgeous.

We especially loved the incredible floral designs by Still Floral. Do you see that staircase?! That is serious wedding goals (and floral installations & elaborate statement arrangments are trending for 2018). The centerpieces tied together the tablescape so amazingly well!  Our linens are that much better with a lavish centerpiece <3

We adore working at the Rialto Theater in Tampa. It’s such a unique space and every couple that gets married there seems to have such a fun personality! Alex and Eric’s wedding was a beautiful blend of classic neutral tones with pretty pops of color in their attire.  The couple has Irish, Filipino, and Jewish roots, and found special ways to incorporate this into the day (mainly through the food, which we hear was FAB!). Be sure to check out the published feature on Every Last Detail for more details about their special day!

There is no denying that pink is THE in color. Although we’re seeing many other color combinations, pink + gold are still holding strong. And we understand why- they not only photograph beautifully, but they add just enough POP without overwhelming or detracting from the couple.

This particular shoot had such a fun inspiration – instead of just a color theme, it also had an equestrian Kentucky Derby twist! The venue happens to be a horse ranch, so it was a natural choice! We ADORE the bride’s bold headpiece. It reminds us of a piece one of our recent Lakeland brides wore. It was a show stopper and we’d love to see more brides rock the look!

For the tablescape, the gold and silver were perfectly blended between the chargers, flatware, and centerpiece vessels. Each metal was muted and perfectly accented the other. We used a mix of ivory, champagne and pink linen on the table. A simple satin napkin (our Ivory Dupioni) draped over the plate, a soft full-size tablecloth linen, and a gorgeous lace runner tied with matching satin ribbon. The combo was a perfect mix of understated and memorable
