There is no denying that pink is THE in color. Although we’re seeing many other color combinations, pink + gold are still holding strong. And we understand why- they not only photograph beautifully, but they add just enough POP without overwhelming or detracting from the couple.
This particular shoot had such a fun inspiration – instead of just a color theme, it also had an equestrian Kentucky Derby twist! The venue happens to be a horse ranch, so it was a natural choice! We ADORE the bride’s bold headpiece. It reminds us of a piece one of our recent Lakeland brides wore. It was a show stopper and we’d love to see more brides rock the look!
For the tablescape, the gold and silver were perfectly blended between the chargers, flatware, and centerpiece vessels. Each metal was muted and perfectly accented the other. We used a mix of ivory, champagne and pink linen on the table. A simple satin napkin (our Ivory Dupioni) draped over the plate, a soft full-size tablecloth linen, and a gorgeous lace runner tied with matching satin ribbon. The combo was a perfect mix of understated and memorable.
